Educated in the UK? This is how you should apply
See which category you should choose as a UK graduate. It differs - depending on which country you are a citizen in and when you completed your education.
Are you a citizen of EU/EEA or Switzerland - and did you graduate AFTER the 1st of January 2021?
If you completed your education in the UK after the 1st of January 2021, you must apply for approval of your education according to the rules that apply to healthcare professionals educated in third countries.

Are you a citizen of EU/EEA or Switzerland - and did you graduate BEFORE the 1st of January 2021?
If you completed your education in the UK before the 1st of January 2021, you can apply for recognition of your education according to EU rules.
- You should press the button “EU member states”.
Are you not a citizen of EU/EEA or Switzerland?
If you are a citizen outside of EU/EAA or Switzerland – including the UK - you must apply for approval of your education according to the rules that apply to health professionals educated in third countries.

Background
The UK formally left the EU on the 31st of January 2020. This was followed by a transition period until the 31st of December 2020, during which citizens of the UK had the opportunity to apply for recognition of their education according to the special EU rules.
The transition period ended on the 31st of December 2020, and the above-mentioned rules for recognition of education completed in the UK now apply
