You must complete the entire authorization process within 3 years and you must have an agreement for employment for adaptation and training purposes covering the entire authorization process.
The employment for adaptation and training purposes must cover your entire evaluation process, meaning until you have completed all the requirements necessary to obtain Danish authorization in your field. This includes passing the necessary tests/courses in Danish language and obtaining a positive evaluation.
If you meet all the requirements, including obtaining a positive evaluation before the 3 years are up, the employment for adaptation and training purposes can be concluded, and you can be granted authorization at that time. However, your employment for adaptation and training purposes cannot be shorter than the equivalent of 6 months of full-time employment.
The time limit starts when we have assessed that you meet the basic requirements for obtaining Danish authorization and can therefore begin the actual authorization process. This means that we have assessed that your overall education level is equivalent to the corresponding Danish basic education and that your foreign authorization has not been revoked abroad.
